Flutter Field (2011) Tzaddi EsguerraYou’ve learned to breathe, to see, to love, to believe. But have you ever learned to fly?
Flutter Field is an artistic rendition of today’s (Philippine) society in the eyes of an unlikely, enigmatic observer. The film highlights a rarely seen facet of people’s attitudes towards life, society and the social cancers that plague their minds and daily routines told through the hopes and dreams of a blinding child.Director’s note: If by the end of this film you’ve gathered up that the child committed suicide, you are wrong. Loljk, it’s an experimental film, you can come up with whatever ending you like. But initially, just so you could appreciate the lines that we so carefully put together, review the film and think of the narration in the balloon’s point of view.
